METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER for PS5 is the modern remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the most iconic titles in the series. The story takes place during the Cold War in 1964, where you play as Naked Snake on a mission to rescue a Soviet scientist and destroy the Shagohod nuclear weapon, also facing off against his former mentor, The Boss. The game is developed by Konami in collaboration with Virtuos and PlatinumGames, using Unreal Engine 5 to offer next-generation graphics and new mechanics such as visible body damage, interactive camouflage, combat enhancements, and both Legacy and Modern control modes. It also includes additional content such as the Snake vs. Monkey mode exclusive to PS5. While maintaining the narrative, characters, and essence of the original, it now features a revamped technical and gameplay experience.
